Tavia Lin Gilbert
is an actor, director, musician, and writer living in New England. She is
the co-founder of The Deviant/Goods, a theatre company based in Portland,
Maine. Tavia graduated with a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts
and studied documentary radio at The Salt Institute. She has been seen as
Viola in Twelfth Night, Laura Bush in Only We Who Guard the
Mystery Shall Be Unhappy, Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart,
and in the films Sundowning and Live Free or Die. Directing
credits include Maria Irene Fornes' Sarita and The Poorly-Written
Play Festival and Cooking with Typhoid Mary by Carolyn Gage. |
