The New Hampshire Philharmonic is a
high-caliber civic orchestra serving central and southern New Hampshire.
Tracing its roots to 1905, the institution bears witness to an enduring
legacy of commitment to the community, through concerts and educational
outreach.
The Philharmonic
functions as a living laboratory, bringing together the state's best
student and amateur musicians to play alongside fine professional
section leaders. This hybrid group performs at a high level of artistic
excellence, under the musical leadership of Anthony Princiotti. For its
100th season the orchestra presents three programs of classical and
holiday fare to the public, as well as a family concert and a gala
winter evening.
A key part of
what The New Hampshire Philharmonic does is educational outreach,
including their youth concerto competition, family concerts and
subsidized ticket programs to area youth. |
